It refers to the course or length of a river. In general, the rivers are divided into course high, medium and low, or upper, middle and lower. The high course covers since the birth of the River, usually a spring or the high mountains, where begins the middle course. It is characterized by having a runway wide Strait and a flow or quantity of water low but very fast.
